Who Is He?
Hi! I'm Sam! I grew up in the not-so-corny part of Iowa (Davenport), until pursing my BFA in Music Theatre at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. I am a Mexican-American Actor, Singer, and Director currently based out of Davenport, Iowa but will soon be coming to a city near you! Outside of the hustle and bustle of the life, I enjoy Disc-Golfing, POWER-binging TV shows and Tarantino/Scorsese films, carpentry, perusing the great outdoors,
My Grandmother told me from a young age that I would grow up and make people smile, and that is what drives me as a performer. Not SIMPLY to make people smile, but to make viewers FEEL. We all have our own issues, but regardless of what they may consist of, Live Theatre can give audience members the chance to leave those troubles behind for a few hours, and sometimes that is truly all humans need: a BREAK from reality! I also think Cinema has a similar power, but the invention of the pause button greatly diminishes that power!
